The Islamabad High Court granted a one-week anticipatory bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sanam Javed, preventing the police from arresting her.
According to the details, Islamabad High Court Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb heard the application for protective bail in the Sargodha case on May 9. Sanam Javed appeared in the court along with his lawyer Ahad Khokhar.
The lawyer told the court that there is a case in Mianwali and there is a fear of arrest, the concerned court wants to appear so we should be given protective bail.

Later, the court granted Sanam Javed a one-week anticipatory bail and ordered the police not to arrest her.

On the other hand, Adani Group has strongly denied these allegations. Sebi chief Madhabi Boch and her husband termed the allegations as ‘baseless’ and ‘character assassination’.
Adani Group stocks saw a sharp fall in the wake of these claims. Adani Power fell 10.94 percent, hitting a low of Rs 619 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Adani Enterprises fell 5.27 percent to a low of Rs 3,018.55.

Adani Energy Solutions was the biggest loser in early trade, falling 17.06 percent to Rs 915.70 before partially recovering. Adani Green Energy fell 6.96 percent to Rs 1,656.05.
The Hindenburg Research Group report revealed links between the IPE Plus Fund, where Sebi Chairperson Madhabi Boch had investments, and the Adani Group.
Anil Ahuja, founder and chief investment officer of IPE, had earlier served as director of Adani Enterprises and Adani Power.
In response, the Adani Group said Anil Ahuja’s role during this period was that of a nominee director representing the 3i investment fund and had no direct business relationship with the said persons.

Microsoft in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan will facilitate students to get Microsoft certification at home.
In this regard, an agreement has been reached between HEC and Microsoft, under which 2000 students registered for this facility will be provided free of cost certification in the first phase. This initiative is considered to be a very important step in bridging the gap between education and employment. As a result, students will be able to acquire professional learning skills at home during the pandemic.
Microsoft and HEC have been committed to promoting IT in the higher education sector for the past decade. The recent agreement between the two will be applicable to private and public universities and under this, the youth will be provided multiple opportunities for technical training as per global standards.
For this certification, students are taught technical skills through a regular curriculum that includes topics in computer science, data science, and IT infrastructure. The MTA (Microsoft Technology Associate) and MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) certifications in this program are helpful in validating technical skills and career advancement.
HEC affiliated universities will participate in this program in partnership with Microsoft Certiport. The Azure Cloud Platform forum will be used to optimize the exam experience for certification. Every year, 12,000 exams are conducted worldwide through this platform.
