Joseph Blackmore concluded the Tour of Rwanda in style by winning the highly anticipated final stage as it took the 2025 World Championships circuit. The Rwandan organizers provided a small glimpse of what awaits the riders in less than two years, in front of a delegation from the UCI who came to scout on this occasion.

With the Kigali Wall, Mount Kigali and a paved climb less than two kilometers from the finish for a difference in altitude which should be around 4000 meters, the program promises to be tough. After Thomas Voeckler, who came two years ago to explore the circuit for himself, the Italian officials last year, it is the turn of Sven Vanthourenhout, the Belgian coach who was present this weekend, to discover these difficulties .

He was thus able to see the young British climber Joseph Blackmore, already in yellow for two days, win alone in front of Ilkhan Dostiyev. In the final ranking we find two French people in the top 10: Fabien Doubey (TotalEnergies) 5th at 1’34” and Brieuc Rolland (Groupama-FDJ Conti) 8th at 2’36”.
