Manama: The police arrested 25 people for allegedly engaging in indecent acts in Bahrain. In a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, the Bahraini Ministry of Interior said that the action was taken for engaging in immoral activities in public places and social media platforms. The General Directorate of Investigation and Criminal Evidence Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs was conducting a detailed investigation following receiving information regarding the unethical activities.
The notification released by the Home Ministry last night states that all the accused have been found and arrested in the incident. Proceedings are in progress to take further legal action once morest those arrested and transfer the case to public prosecution. The Directorate of Investigation and Criminal Evidence said that citizens or residents of the country can contact the hotline 555 if they have any complaints or need help.
