Writing scientific studies that are cited as often as possible by other experts – this is still the achievement in the research world that tries to make quality measurable. At this year’s Liste der Highly Cited Researchers, which the data company Clarivate published on Wednesday, there are a total of 6,849 scientists from 67 countries. According to the annual analysis, these researchers make up the top percent of the most frequently cited scientists. The current list includes 41 researchers who work at least partly in Austria, compared to 46 last year.
