44 civilians killed in attacks in Burkina Faso – World Chronicle

At least 44 residents were killed and scores injured in an attack by armed groups on two villages in north-eastern Burkina Faso, according to the authorities. The governor of the Sahel region, Lieutenant Colonel Rodolphe Sorgho, announced on Saturday that “terrorist groups” had attacked the two villages near the Niger border almost simultaneously on Friday night.
