The organizers of the Condroz rally communicated it on Facebook on Monday: the 49th edition of the Condroz Rally, scheduled for November, will not take place. During the 2022 edition, two spectators had died, a tragic event which had put the future of the Huoise event on hold.
In a press release of a few lines, the Motor Club evokes a “maturely considered decision”, although all the authorizations related to safety have been granted by the RACB Sport and the local authorities.
The organization explains, however, that it wants to go “beyond the preliminary prescriptions” and adds that “all the conditions for the setting up of such an event are not met”. She says she does not want to bury the organization of the rally for the next few years: “We are going to continue, with all of our members, the work started in recent months for the development of a renowned Huoise event”.
