Yesterday evening, Friday, a funeral was held for the mother of the artist Latifa at the Police Mosque in the Sheikh Zayed area, in the presence of a large number of art and media stars and public figures who were keen to be present and offer their condolences and comfort “Latifa” in her ordeal.
The funeral witnessed the presence of a large number of stars, including the artist Kinda Alloush, the artist Angham, Father Boutros Daniel, the media figure Bossi Shalabi, the artist Mai Farouk, the artist Muhammad Al-Amrousi, the journalist Mamdouh Moussa, the director Sandra Nashaat, the artist Hend Sabry, the artist Reem Al-Baroudi, the artist Nadia Mostafa. On Monday, January 1, Latifa announced her mother’s death following a struggle with illness and said on Instagram: “My mother is the light of my eyes, my life, my entire life is under the protection of the Great Creator… We belong to God and to Him we shall return… In heaven, the most precious person in my life.”
