A 51-year-old attacked and injured a 68-year-old rose seller in the city of Salzburg on Saturday night. The perpetrator pushed the man in front of a bar for no apparent reason, hit him in the face with his fist and kicked him when he was already lying on the ground. Passers-by rushed to help the rose seller, but the ruthless 51-year-old also attacked them, the police reported in a broadcast.
Only when passersby stepped in did the 51-year-old let go of his victim, but tried to hit a witness in the face with his fist. Another 51-year-old friend of the accused loudly insulted a passer-by and threatened to hit him and break his bones. The police arrested the heavily intoxicated 51-year-old perpetrator. The rose seller was taken to the hospital.
