The Serb living in Tennengau, who struck in Salzburg and himself is a fan of trading cards á la Pokémon, offered part of the loot in Viennese shops. Now he was on trial – he ruefully confessed.

A 34-year-old Serb had his sights set on unusual and highly valuable stolen goods, and he was tried on Wednesday at the regional court. The previously blameless employee living in Tennengau, who fully confessed in the process, had a total of 5809 trading cards for the popular games “Pokémon”, “Magic the Gathering”, “Yu-Gi-Oh” and “Flesh & Blood” stolen. Total value of the partly rare, captured cards, which are very popular with quite a few children and adults alike: around 81,100 euros.
