Saudi ambassador to Beirut says relations with Lebanon are too deep to be affected by “irresponsible” statements

CAIRO (Archyde.com) – Saudi media reported on Thursday, quoting the Kingdom’s ambassador to Beirut, Walid al-Bukhari, as saying that “relations with Lebanon are too deep to be affected by irresponsible and absurd statements.”

Al-Bukhari’s statements are the first following the leader of the Lebanese Hezbollah group, Hassan Nasrallah, in a speech delivered on Monday, accused the Saudi monarch of terrorism.

Al-Bukhari called on the Lebanese government to stop activities affecting the Kingdom and the Gulf states.
