Developers from Santa Monica Studio and Jetpack Interactive reported about the release of the patch 1.0.2 for the PC version of God of War.
The developers thanked everyone who helped and participated in testing fixes in the experimental beta branch. If you were one of them, you should revert to the default branch, as the experimental beta branch will no longer be updated.
To revert to the default branch, follow these steps:
- In your Steam Library, right-click “God of War” and select “Properties”.
- Select the BETA tab
- Change the dropdown to “none”
Patch Notes
- Fixed an issue that prevented users with 12th generation Intel processors from loading the game without disabling the integrated graphics card.
- Fixed a UI issue that was causing a small memory leak.
- Added an error message when saving a game fails due to a missing “Saved Games” folder or a related permissions issue.
- Added an error message when the GPU stops responding. This error often occurs due to a driver issue or instability due to overclocking.
