Longing: Of course that shouldn’t be the case. For us, racing is Mecca. It’s the race you need to be in. One can only hope that it will take place once more next year. It was still right for me to cancel it this time. The corona situation on the island was special because it had few intensive care beds available. Of course, you don’t know what will happen in 2022. Is it really happening? But it’s good that we have a competition in St. George in May that’s taking place on the mainland – the Ironman World Championships outside of Hawaii for the first time. At least this race will happen one hundred percent.
