Sergio Fajardo and Carlos Amaya receive new endorsements for the Centro Esperanza Coalition consultation

What do you think of the Senate candidates Caterine Ibargüen (Party of the U) and Mábel Lara (New Liberalism)?

“If we look back 50 years ago, black women didn’t even think regarding being there with a Senate run. That today we are breaking into politics is progress regardless of where we are. There will be no aggression or bad word from me towards them, their struggles and leadership as Afro women are valid.”

And what do you think regarding Ingrid Betancourt?

“Regardless of my criticism for coming to the country every four years for elections, I rescue his political work. I’m sorry that they violate and mistreat her in networks for leaving the Esperanza Center. I have suffered such mistreatment.”

Should there be more women candidates?

“Of course, today we are barely three among more than 20 candidates. That is worrisome”.
