But will this prime time romantic comedy be entitled to a sequel? For now, no season 2 has been formalized and no information on the subject has been revealed.
As Isabelle Vitari (Manon) has revealed in TV Mag, “there will be a season 2 if the audiences are there.” When launched, The (almost) perfect love gathered an average of 2.6 million curious people. Audiences were down in the second week, dropping below 10% market share with 1.83 million viewers on average. The audiences for the finale will therefore be decisive in knowing whether or not Jul’s love affairs will continue during a season 2.

Synopsis – Jul, 36, is an unemployed single woman who intends to get her life back together. While returning from her sister’s wedding in a taxi, she receives a call from a stranger, Max, who asks her to marry him. Overjoyed, she ends up realizing that it’s not her phone. But it doesn’t matter for Jul, who decides to meet this ideal man and seduce him, with the help of his two friends. At the same time, she begins a roommate with Stéphane, without knowing that he is making her believe that he is gay in order to reassure her regarding his intentions.
