WASHINGTON | The maintenance of Russian forces in Belarus shows that Russia is “on the verge” of invading Ukraine, in accordance with the scenario described in recent days by the United States, said Sunday the head of diplomacy Antony Blinken.

Russian President Vladimir Putin “follows the script almost to the letter,” Blinken told CNN. “Everything we see suggests that this is very serious, that we are on the verge of an invasion.”
