Riyadh: The death toll from Covid 19 in Saudi Arabia has crossed 9,000. In the last 24 hours, three more deaths were reported in the country, bringing the total death toll to 9,001. Kovid has confirmed 563 new recruits in the country.
Of the current patients, 839 have recovered, the health ministry said. The total number of cases reported so far in the country has reached 7,45,590. The total number of cases rose to 7,24,388. Of the patients, 12,201 are undergoing treatment. Of these, 554 are in critical condition. They are in the intensive care unit of various hospitals across the country. The condition of the rest is satisfactory. The country’s covid liberation rate was 96.87 percent and the death rate was 1.21 percent. 64,969 RT-PCR tests were performed within 24 hours. Riyadh 158, Jeddah 56, Dammam 30, Hufuf 22, Abha 20, Madinah 19, Makkah 19 and Ta’if 17 were the new Kovid cases reported in different parts of the country. The country has so far vaccinated 6,09,76,393 doses of the vaccine. Of these, 2,59,64,761 were the first dose, 2,42,04,042 the second dose and 1,08,07,590 the booster dose.
