Western Digital Announces New WD_BLACK Product WD_BLACK SN770 NVMe SSD

Western Digital announced today (6) new additions to the latest WD_BLACK product portfolio WD_BLACK SN770 NVMe SSDemphasizing a 40% increase in performance at maximum operating speed and a power efficiency savings of up to 20% compared to the previous generation.

Stefan Mandl, Vice President of Sales at Western Digital, said: “More and more gamers want to move to the PCIe Gen4 interface, and we believe it is important to provide the PC gaming community with a solution that provides multiple, stable, high-performance upgradeable devices. Through the new WD_BLACK SN770 NVMe SSD , Gen4 technology has become more accessible, and each player can enter the game world faster and improve the overall experience.”

Officials point out that the WD_BLACK SN770 NVMe SSD is equipped with PCIe Gen4 technology and has a read speed of up to 5,150MB/s3 (1TB and 2TB models only), which minimizes game lag and provides a smooth streaming experience. For players who are looking to upgrade to Gen4, the WD_BLACK SN770 NVMe SSD is also backward compatible with Gen3.
