“A village was shot at (…). It is already clear that there are injured civilians. For the moment, there are two: a man injured in the hand and a woman who received a wound in the neck,” wrote Vyacheslav Gladkov on Telegram messaging.

According to him, the shots targeted the village of Jouravliovka.

“Ambulances have already been to the scene. There are houses that have been partially destroyed,” Gladkov said.

Russia has repeatedly accused Ukrainian forces of carrying out strikes on Russian soil, including on two villages in the Belgorod region and a village in the Bryansk region in mid-April.
