Day 781 | Fight against COVID-19: Venezuela registers 23 cases of contagion without deaths

A total of 23 cases of contagion of COVID-19 by community transmission were detected in the last 24 hours, raising the confirmed accumulated to 522 thousand 587, while the number of recovered is located at 515 thousand 871 healed patients, thanks to the free treatments guaranteed by the Bolivarian Government.

This was announced this Thursday by the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodriguezduring the usual daily balance offered by the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19, through its account on the social network @delcyrodriguezv

He reported that the community cases of the day were detected in 9 states: Bolívar (6), Apure (5), Monagas (4), Miranda (2), Lara (2), Yaracuy (1), Trujillo (1), Mérida (1) and Delta Amacuro (1).

The entity that today registers the most new cases is Bolívar (6), with active infections in two municipalities, El Callao (4) and Caroní (2); it is followed by the states: Apure (5), Monagas (4) and Miranda (2).

On the day no deaths were recordedto have a total of five thousand 709 in the national territory.

In week 112 and day 781 of the pandemic in the country, these are its general statistics:

      • Total infections: 522,587
      • Recovered patients: 515,871 (99%)
      • Current active cases: 1,007
      • Total deaths: 5,709
