In a statement, the embassy said: “In reference to what is being reported on social media regarding a Saudi citizen who suffers from difficult health conditions in the Kingdom of Morocco, the embassy would like to report that the citizen’s identity was identified by communicating with his family in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to verify his identification papers, His place of residence in the city of Muhammadiyah was also identified through coordination with the competent Moroccan authorities, and he is now in a safe place in the custody of the Saudi embassy in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, and coordination is currently underway to complete the procedures for his safe return home, God willing.
