Refugee advocates fear abuse.
60% of the social integration income if the refugee is housed, fed laundered, 30% + 35 euros from the third person if food and drinks are not included and 500 euros for separate accommodation. These are the percentages and amounts that the CPAS of Sprimont in the province of Liège proposes to withdraw from the social assistance they pay to Ukrainians to pay them directly to the host. By hosting a couple who receive a social integration income of 1,487.56 euros, the host can receive up to 892 euros. According to the CPAS, this agreement makes it possible to put all the residents on an equal footing and to prevent them from having a financial relationship with the Sprimontoise families who host them.
