The expertise of the woman from Moosomin, Saskatchewan, is not theoretical: Campbell was a top-level player herself, won World Cup silver with Canada in 2015, following the end of her career she oriented herself towards a coaching job with the long-term goal of getting one there to get the lead role. As a woman in the men’s division, she took a path that is no longer a complete novelty in North America – at least for jobs that are less in the public eye.
