The strong dust storm experienced in Kuwait made the life of the people unbearable. The dust significantly affected the operation of the airport and road traffic. By Monday evening, the atmosphere was completely submerged in dust.
By 4 pm, the weather was dark with dust, confirming the weather forecast. The visibility was very low, causing traffic jams in many places. Outdoor work, including bike delivery services, was the hardest hit by the dust.
The dust storm also affected the operation of the airport. Flights were suspended for about an hour. Air traffic was restored by 6 p.m. The DGCA said it had rescheduled the suspended services. The Meteorological Department had warned of dust storms in the evening. Following this, the police had directed the public not to go outside except for unavoidable things and those who go out should take precautionary measures against dust.
