Musk responds to his accusation of harassment: It did not happen, and I challenge to prove the incident

Billionaire Elon Musk took to Twitter late Thursday to deny “completely untrue” allegations in a news report that he sexually harassed a flight attendant on a private jet in 2016.

The Business Insider news website had previously reported that Musk’s SpaceX company paid $250,000 in 2018 to settle a harassment lawsuit filed by a flight attendant, without mentioning her name, who accused Musk of nude in front of her.

The report attributed this to an unidentified woman who said she was the host’s friend, and that she testified as part of a secret settlement process.

“I challenge this liar who claims that her friend saw me naked to only describe one thing, anything at all (scars, tattoos), something people don’t know. You can’t do that because that never happened,” Musk wrote.

And “Business Insider” quoted a friend of the flight attendant as saying that in addition to being undressed in front of her, the holder groped the flight attendant’s thigh and offered to buy her a horse if she would do more during an on-board massage.

The host now believes that her rejection of Musk’s offer hurt her chances to work at SpaceX and prompted her to hire a lawyer in 2018, according to Business Insider.

The website said that the missile maker settled out of court, and included a non-disclosure agreement that prevented the host from speaking about the matter.

In a Business Insider report, Musk was quoted as saying that the host’s story was “politically motivated” and that there would be “more such stories”.

“Attacks against me should be seen through a political lens, that’s their (despicable) style, but nothing will stop me from fighting for a good future and your right to freedom of expression,” Musk initially wrote on Thursday.

“And as a reminder, these outrageous accusations are totally untrue,” Musk added in another tweet.

He also said that the report aims to influence the acquisition of Twitter, according to “Archyde.com”.
