In detail, royal orders were issued today, the texts of which are as follows:

With God’s help

We, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud,

King of Saudi Arabia

After perusal of the Basic Law of Governance, issued by Royal Decree No. (A/90) dated 8/27/1412 AH.

And following perusal of the Cabinet System, issued by Royal Decree No. (A / 13) on 3/3/1414 AH.

And following reviewing the system of the Food and Drug Authority, issued by Royal Decree No. (M / 6) dated 25/1/1428 AH.

And following perusal of Royal Decree No. (A/133) dated 7/30/1437 AH.

And following perusal of Royal Decree No. (A/181) dated 08/26/1437 AH.

We ordered the following:

First: Relieving Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan bin Muhammad Al-Rabiah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Food and Drug Authority, of his position.

Second: His Excellency Mr. Fahd bin Abdulrahman bin Dahes Al-Jalajil is appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Food and Drug General Authority.

Third: Our order is notified to the competent authorities for approval and implementation.
