The Thurgau cantonal police carried out speed checks on the main road between Engwilen and Hefenhausen. Shortly after 3:45 p.m., a car passed the measuring point at 149 km/h in the direction of Hefenhausen. After deducting the safety margin, the driver exceeded the maximum speed by 65 kilometers per hour, which corresponds to a speeding offense, as the cantonal police wrote on Monday.
A 27-year-old woman was in the passenger seat. A two-month-old baby was in the back seat, it said. The driver’s license was revoked. (SDA)
