Al-Marsad newspaper: The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development revealed the average wage difference for citizens working in the public sector versus the private sector.
According to Al-Watan newspaper, the ministry estimated the average wage difference between the two sectors for Saudi workers at about 28%.
The total workforce in private sector establishments until the end of the fourth quarter of 2021 amounted to more than 8.5 million workers, of whom Saudis constituted 22.37%, while non-Saudis accounted for 77.63%.
