Al-Marsad newspaper: The pioneers of social media circulated a video clip showing the death of a group of 15 camels, after they drank oil materials that leaked from the ground in an oil site south of Marsa Matrouh, Egypt.
The scenes in the video, which was posted on YouTube, showed a number of camels dead bodies near a dark stain of oil, after they ingested these toxic substances, which they thought were water.
A resident of Marsa Matrouh found “dead camels around an oil slick on a road south of Marsa Matrouh, a road for an oil company in the Western Desert, so he photographed them and posted photos and videos on Facebook,” according to the newspaper, “Al-Masry Al-Youm.”
