The RTBF announces it, the scan-car will land in Namur this summer, it which had been tested in the streets of the city last October.
This is a vehicle that travels through parking areas to impose fines on offending drivers.
It scans the plates and can check in real time whether or not a motorist has paid to park. It can check up to 1,200 vehicles per hour.
According to our information, this scan-car should be available at the end of June. The City of Namur will provide more information next week.
