The Jiu-Jitsu Federation is organizing the third edition of the Jiu-Jitsu Challenge Festival for the current year for the buds and cubs for the ages (4 to 15 years) on June 18 and 19 at the Sports Center of the Emirates University in Al Ain, with the participation of hundreds of players from various clubs and academies.
Youssef Abdullah Al-Batran, member of the Board of Directors of the Jiu-Jitsu Federation said: “Organizing the third edition of the Challenge Championship comes within the framework of the Federation’s strategy to invest in young talents emerging, their talents by participating in tournaments and festivals that develop their abilities and self-confidence, as they are among the most important pillars that will determine the features of Ju-Jitsu’s development. UAE jitsu in the future and consolidating the country’s global leadership in this sport.”
Al-Batran added: “The tournament, with its enthusiastic atmosphere, contributes to upgrading the capabilities and talents, and developing social and national values among children, especially since ju-jitsu represents a sport of noble values that contributes to building the human being and promoting the values of belonging, discipline, respect and determination.”
The championship is scheduled to start on Saturday, June 18, with the children’s white, gray and yellow belts competitions, while its fights will be completed the next day with the competitions for the juniors and juniors categories of the white, gray, yellow, orange and green belts.
