The province of Fayfa in southern Saudi Arabia embraces a historical heritage and archaeological monuments dating back to pre-Islamic times. Perhaps the most prominent of these is the Shatt al-Sabbaya, whose story goes back centuries. The site is still witness to that story that happened to the companion Hind bint Utbah, may God be pleased with her, the mother of one of the writers Revelation, the sixth caliph in Islam, the founder of the Umayyad state in the Levant and its first caliph, the great companion Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan, may God be pleased with him.
