The YouTuber TeaserPlay shared a new video on his channel showing how Far Cry 7 in Unreal Engine 5 might look. An interesting concept trailer that also includes gameplay footage. Should be seen as a Far Cry fan!
The character models in the trailer are not really impressive. They lack facial animation and look pretty “old” by today’s standards. The gameplay trailer promises a lot of beautiful moving pictures.
TeaserPlay used Lumen for this. The lighting therefore looks fantastic as comes Far Cry 6 not with.
Take it for what it really is: a concept trailer with some 3D models, an environment and some basic gameplay elements.
Far Cry 7: when will it be released?
Ubisoft is currently more concerned with Far Cry 6 than with a possible successor. There are rumors regarding the game that Far Cry 7 will probably be a live service title.
However, many years will pass before the shooter actually appears: So far there is no information that the development has already started. Ubisoft will still some DLCs for Far Cry 6 launch. So fans of the series will continue to get new content, albeit not a new game.
