London: Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II has become the second longest-serving monarch in the world. Monday marks 70 years and 127 days since the crown was won. First place went to Louis XIV of France. He became king in 1643 at the age of four.
Queen Elizabeth III placed Thailand’s earthly uniqueness in third place. Bhumibol ruled for 70 years and 126 days between 1927 and 2016. He died in 2016.
