Kuwait City: The Kuwaiti football team has slipped one place to 148th in the FIFA rankings. The team is ranked 28th in Asia. Qatar leads the Gulf countries. They are 49th, two places up in the FIFA rankings. Saudi Arabia dropped four places to 53rd. The other Gulf states are ranked 69th in the UAE, 75th in Oman and 85th in Bahrain.

Morocco is the 20th largest Arab country in the world. Tunisia, ranked 30th, is ranked fifth, followed by Egypt at 40th and Algeria at 41st. Brazil, Belgium, Argentina, France, England, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Denmark are in the top ten, respectively. Other Arab nations that made it into the top 100 were Jordan (86), Syria (89), Palestine (94) and Lebanon (100). India is ranked 104th.
