Repechage: CH supporters make their choice

The wait is finally coming to an end… There are only nine days left before we find out which player will be drafted by the Canadiens in first place.

According to the results of our survey, Shane Wright will be the lucky one. To the question “Who will be the first choice of the Canadiens in the draft?” asked on our website, 71.4% of people answered Wright.

Juraj Slafkovsky follows with 20.2% of the vote, against 8.4% for Logan Cooley.

The sample is considerable with more than 2500 votes collected until now.

According to general manager Kent Hughes, the final decision has not yet been made. “To be perfectly honest, we don’t know yet,” he told NJ.com two weeks ago.

“We want to be as certain as possible of our choice,” he added, saying to watch several videos and this, several times each.

If Hughes does not know who to choose between Wright and Slafkovsky, he claims to have had “no discussion to exchange the very first selection”.

We will have the heart net on July 7th. To set the table, two one-hour specials on the NHL draft will be presented on our airwaves Tuesday and Wednesday starting at 6 p.m.

Thursday, you can follow all the action of the first round from 5 p.m. Rounds two through seven will air beginning at 10:30 a.m. Friday morning.
