The Department of Culture in Sharjah issued the thirty-fifth issue of the monthly magazine concerned with poetry and popular literature “Al-Heera from Sharjah”.
The introduction to the issue stressed the importance of studying topics related to the audience of Nabati poetry and its creators, such as the topic “The Nabataean poem: between talent and craftsmanship”, which was addressed in the magazine’s fixed section “on the table”, to feed the poem with poetic images and artistic works, and to preserve the voice of creativity that is born with The poet in response to his creative environment.
The issue included in the section “From the Flowers of the Years” a literary documentation of the poet Mohsen bin Othman Al-Hazani, as one of the ancient poets in the Arabian Peninsula.
As for the “Ink of the Pioneers” section, we read the biography and poems of the pioneering Emirati poet Rashid bin Mohammed Balabdah Al Shamsi, the poet of feelings and the details of the desert. In the section, we learn about the art and colors of Al-Mawal Al-Halabi in the Levant.
In the section “Windows of the Self”, we read the experience of the Emirati poet Rashid Al Ahbabi, while we review a field research in the section “Publications and Illuminations” on popular poetry in the “Beja” community of a number of Bedouin tribes in Sudan.
As for the “Poet and Poem” section, we read the “Hajj” poem written by the poet Abdullah bin Sultan bin Sulayem eight decades ago on his pilgrimage journey. A request for forgiveness and reward.
As for the “Spaces” section, we learn about the place of the palm tree in the Arabic Nabataean poetry. In the section “The Eyes of Folk Poetry”, we read the theme of the feast between the call of the absent and the call to joy on an authentic occasion.
In the section “The Banks of Nabatiyeh”, we read the experience of the Kuwaiti poet Afrah Al-Qasid and her poetic images. In the section “Modarat” we read the topic of “The Night in the Arabic Folk Poem and Nabatiyeh.” We also read in the section “The Folk Poetry Blog” a number of the colors of the popular poem in Sudan. In the section “Shaddo Al-Huruf”, we read the themes and creations of the poet “Tinhat Najd” between originality and poetic image.
In the number, as well as various poems in the structures and styles of poets from the Emirates, the Gulf and the Arab world in the section “Rivers of Amazement”, as well as the section of “The Orchard of Al-Hira” brings to us a number of poems intensive in wisdom and experiences of the years for a number of poets and poets.
