The champion Neama Said achieved a new gold medal in weightlifting in the 71 kg weight category, at the 2022 Mediterranean Games in Oran.
The Egyptian weightlifter succeeded in lifting a weight of 101 kg by snatching, to culminate in the first gold this morning, and added the second and ninth gold to Egypt after lifting 125 kg.
The Egyptian delegation is participating in the Mediterranean Games with 19 different sports, with a total of 183 male and female players.
Egypt has achieved 36 medals so far in the Mediterranean Games, 9 gold, 11 silver and 16 bronze.
