For ages, “Manic Monday” has challenged itself to schedule all the round of 16 ladies’ and gents’ singles on the same day. A logistical challenge as much as commercial ineptitude. Since this year, Wimbledon has done like everyone else and spreads its headliners, its media exposure and its box office receipts over two days.
