Al-Marsad newspaper: Yemeni media revealed that 15 people were killed and wounded, according to an initial toll, as a result of the explosion of a weapon depot in southern Yemen, in the city of Lawdar, to the northeastern side of Abyan governorate, located in southern Yemen.
A video clip documented shocking scenes of the moment of the explosion and the panic of citizens, and the attempt to retrieve the bodies and the wounded, who were then transferred to the rural hospital near the area.
According to informed sources, the explosion hit a weapons store belonging to an arms dealer in the central market in Lawdar, causing a fire and partial collapse of the building used to store weapons.
