The Ministry of Health has provided several tips to avoid heat-related injuries during the summer, including heat stress and heat stroke.
She advised to wear loose and light clothes of light colors, pointing out that hot and heavy meals increase body heat, so the quantity and time of eating must be taken into account, as well as putting sunscreen and using an umbrella and sunglasses.
She stressed the importance of drinking plenty of fluids, taking into account staying away from sugary drinks, adding that the temperature in the car may reach very high degrees, so she stressed not to leave people in the car for any length of time, especially children, because they are at risk of heat stroke or death.
