Comedian Kang Yu-mi (39) announced the divorce through her YouTube channel on the 7th.
Through a YouTube channel post, Kang Yu-mi said, “I mightn’t tell you first because it was a personal pain that I mightn’t speak up easily with courage.”
He added, “It was painful and it was a difficult time, but thanks to the support of the subscribers, I was able to keep busy with work.
Kang Yumi debuted in 2002 with KBS Prime’s ‘Korean Peninsula Humor Collection’. In 2004, she was accepted as a comedian in KBS 19th, and has continued her various activities. She married her ex-husband, who is a non-celebrity, in August 2019.
