The profits of the Commercial Bank of Qatar in the second quarter of 2022 increased by 1% on an annual basis to about 731 million riyals.
The net profits of the second largest commercial banks in Qatar during the first half of this year grew by 7.9% on an annual basis to 1.43 billion riyals, supported by the growth of operating income by 11.7%.
The provisions for loans and advances by the end of the first six months of this year amounted to 502 million riyals, an annual increase of 21% year on year.
The data also indicated a growth in the bank’s assets by 8.8% to about 176.4 billion riyals, supported by the growth of the loan portfolio, which grew marginally to about 102 billion riyals.
