Fully stealth aero E-road Ares Aero from luxury car brand ARES Modena | Road bikes can’t be stopped

The first e-road bike in collaboration with HPR and luxury car company ARES Modena,Ares AeroIs here.

Ares Aero transforms the tube into a modern all-purpose aero road bike, with the 200W HPS motor system hidden inside a tube with a normal look.

In the case of stealth e-road, the rear hub motor is common, but as far as I can see in the picture, I don’t think there is a motor.

The motor uses Watt Assist Pro from HPS. It’s the same as the lightweight e-road bike below.

The battery bottle is mounted on the seat tube using a plug built into Elite’s custom bottle cage.

In other words, there is no built-in battery in the tube.

There are two types of HPS batteries available.

  • Standard model (1.2kg, 193Wh)
  • Travel battery (720g, 85Wh)

Suitable for up to 3 hours and 1.5 hours of mountaineering assistance, respectively.

There are two modes, Proton (6 steps assist) and Attack (3 steps), all controlled by ANT + connection from the corresponding GPS cycling computer (Garmin and Wahoo listed).

This bike blends a fairly traditional look road bike with a subtle aero shape.

The dropped seat stays provide a stiffer rear end to increase compliance but maintain the rigidity expected with the added power.

Since it is a European product, it is limited to assisting up to 25 km / h, and climbing is sufficient.

It also includes a selection of custom geometry and cockpit specifications. In the photo, it’s Deda VINCI.

The seatpost is Deda. The saddle is Prologo.

Ares AeroIs limited to 24 units. All are made to order and cost 14,950 euros (regarding 2 million yen) each.

Is it cheaper than the luxury cars of ARES Modena?
