Al-Marsad newspaper: The family doctor, Dr. Saud Al-Shehri, revealed 5 common foods that help you sleep well.
Al-Shehri said, in a video clip on his Twitter account, “Excellent foods that help sleep, including a cup of cherries an hour before bed, and two kiwis two hours before bed.”
He continued: “Drinking 3 cups of hot milk, and a handful of nuts from pistachios, walnuts, almonds and cashews because of their richness in magnesium, as well as salmon.”
Al-Shehri warned against eating sugar before bed because it causes interruptions in sleep, adding: “It raises sugar and insulin, which interferes with the sleep hormone.”
