The Bo company has just unveiled a new electric scooter, the Bo M, whose design is directly inspired by what Tesla and VanMoof are doing. Its price should be around 2500 euros, with a release scheduled for June 2023.

Speaking at the Microbility Industries Forum, Bo CEO Oscar Morgan said his company is inspired by of the electric car manufacturer Tesla et from e-bike manufacturer VanMoof. « Tesla and VanMoof have made their products highly desirable, safer and functional “, did he declare.

Morgan believes Bo M’s unique selling point is its “monocurve” chassis. This gives it a particularly distinctive look, although that she does not fall back actually like the majority of electric scooters do. It takes advantage of a light that goes around the chassis to illuminate all sides.

The Bo M is equipped a 500 W motor delivering a maximum speed of 39 km/h, which will be limited in accordance with local regulations. Charging time is three hours with a claimed range of around 50km. With a weight of 18 kg (all the same), it has sliding hooks to carry bags. She is certified IP65 and can therefore theoretically drive in the rain.

The company advertises a two-year warranty upon purchase. Its price is 1995 pounds sterling (2,380 euros approximately) or 69 pounds per month (80 euros) via a subscription. Deliveries are expected to start from June 2023.
