The 38-year-old citizen was injured while trying to flee after committing the crime, so he was transferred to the Dr. Raúl Leoni Hospital in Guaiparo.
A subject was apprehended by officials of the Municipal Police of Caroní, after stealing from a commercial premises in San Félix.
The event was recorded on the morning of Thursday, August 4, at the “El Centro” Shopping Center, located on Ramírez Street.
The man was identified as JRCD, 38 years old, from whom a facsimile and a blue Realme cell phone were seized.
After committing the crime, the citizen jumped from the first floor fleeing from a crowd, for which he complained of severe pain in his left leg.
The uniformed officers transferred the detainee from the Chirica Police Coordination Center to the Dr. Raúl Leoni Hospital in Guaiparo; where a fracture in said extremity was confirmed.
