Midfielder Peter Zulj has terminated his contract with Turkish first division club Istanbul Basaksehir FK.
As the club announced, the cooperation with Zulj, which had been agreed until 2024, was terminated prematurely by mutual agreement. Zulj only made seven appearances for Basaksehir after moving from Anderlecht in the summer of 2021. In the second half of last season, Zulj was loaned to Fehervar, where the 29-year-old made 14 competitive appearances (three goals, one assist).
In Austria, Zulj played a total of 136 games in the Bundesliga for Wolfsberger AC, Admira, SV Ried and Sturm Graz.
