University teacher appointment controversy: Priya Varghese reacts

Kannur | Priya Varghese reacts to the controversy related to the appointment of teachers in Kannur University. They said that the cheating of the numbers is going on under the cover of the data sheet. The reason for the controversy is the allegation that Priya got the first rank in the teacher interview due to the influence of her husband and CPM leader KK Ragesh. They joked on Facebook that the controversy started by misinterpreting the UGC regulation and saying that the research period cannot be added as teaching experience, now the UGC regulation has been thrown into the mud and they are trampling on the strength of only some RTI documents. 1. What are these math games? For that you should also know the history of Kannur University application submission. As it was the time of covid, the application had to be submitted as an online application. As we type in each column in this online data sheet, the corresponding number in the score column will be auto generated. After completing the application, our total score will be automatically generated. Thus the numbers marked by the computer software are now being displayed in the online application. The University has not done any direct physical verification on this. This usually takes place on the day of the interview. The interview was online so it didn’t happen that day either. That means my 156 and the other’s 651 are all just our claims. The university has not fully vetted it

2. But how come there is such a huge difference in the numbers?

There are not many journals from Malayalam in care list. And which ones are peer reviewed? Doubtful. A. K. P. C. T. I have written something on the college teacher with ISSN registration of A. Can I claim it? column in female voice? To clear the doubts, the academic department of the university itself was called and the approved journals in Malayalam list was taken. I filled in my application only the papers that appeared in the journals that were listed there. If the names of all the above mentioned publications were typed, the marks would have fallen in the score column. My RTI score would have been at least double what it is now. But I can confirm one thing that as much as I have claimed, these controversies have arisen following I personally checked this last 1st date at the university headquarters in Thavakara and sent the soft copy for plagiarism check as requested. As the research score is only considered for shortlisting, apart from having the required 75 points, the verification of the full pointer claimed is not yet done in the case of any other candidate. Only following that happens, the paddy and chaff in these numbers turn. So you don’t need to celebrate these numbers too much.
