Doha: According to reports, 71 percent of investments in the Middle East go to Qatar. The Qatar Investment Promotion Agency’s report on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the Middle East has been released.
The leading sectors are software, IT, business services, financial services, coal, oil and gas.
During the same period, FDI projects in the Middle East accounted for 12 percent of global FDI. The US was the largest source of FDI.
