As in recent off-seasons, Udonis Haslem left doubt about the end of his career, but today during his camp he put an end to the suspense. At 42 he announces that he will make a 20th season at the Heat.
Pat Riley had confided earlier this summer that a place awaited him at the Heat, whether he continued his playing career or not. He will of course be the oldest active player in the NBA this season.
Last season the veteran still played very little, 13 games, all the same 12 more than the previous season, for averages of 2.5 points and 1.9 rebounds. He’s an assistant on a coaching salary, but coaching he says doesn’t inspire him at all.
